Step-by-Step Proxy Configuration for PlayStation 4 & 5
Turn on your PlayStation and go to the main screen. Scroll up to the function area and select Settings (toolbox icon).
In the Settings menu, scroll down and select Network.
Select Set Up Internet Connection.
Choose your connection method: Use Wi-Fi (or Use a LAN Cable if you’re using Ethernet). Then select Custom setup.
Then select Custom setup.
Set DHCP Host Name to Do Not Specify.
Set DNS Settings to Automatic.
Set MTU Settings to Automatic.
When you reach Proxy Server, select Use.
Enter the Proxy Server IP address and Port, then select Next.
Select Test Internet Connection to confirm everything works.
If everything is configured correctly, the system will display successful connection results.
Done! Your PlayStation is now configured to use a proxy server.
