How to set up a proxy on iOS?

You can manually configure a proxy on your iPhone or iPad through Wi-Fi settings. Follow these simple steps:

How to enable proxy on iOS

1. Open Wi-Fi settings. Go to Settings → Wi-Fi and connect to the network you want to configure.

2. Open network details. Tap the (i) icon next to your connected Wi-Fi network.

3. Find HTTP Proxy section. Scroll down until you see HTTP Proxy. By default, it is set to Off.

4.Tap Manual to enable manual configuration.

5. Enter proxy details. Fill in:

  • Server (IP address)

  • Port

  • Username

  • Password

Once entered, the settings are applied automatically.

How to turn off proxy on iOS

If you no longer need a proxy:

1. Open Wi-Fi settings. Go to Settings → Wi-Fi and select your connected network.

2. Tap the (i) icon. Open network details.

3. Open HTTP Proxy settings. Scroll to HTTP Proxy.

4. Select Off. Choose Off to disable all proxy settings for that Wi-Fi network.

Changes are saved automatically—no extra steps required.
