Setting Up a Proxy in Shadowrocket for iOS
Follow the instructions below to complete the setup with confidence.
Open the Shadowrocket app on your iPhone or iPad and go to the Nodes (Proxy) tab. Tap the plus (+) button to add a new configuration.
After tapping the plus button, you will see the server configuration screen. At the top, tap Type (or Protocol) to choose the connection protocol. In this example, we use SOCKS5.
Enter your proxy server details:
IP Address (Host),
Port,
Username,
Password. You can find these credentials in your account dashboard or confirmation email. After entering the information, tap Done.
Double-check all entered information carefully. Even a small typo can prevent the proxy from connecting properly.
To make sure everything is configured correctly, select the added proxy (IP address) and tap Connectivity Test.
Return to the main screen of the app. Find the toggle switch next to your configured proxy (node) and turn it ON.
Done! The proxy setup in Shadowrocket has been successfully completed.
