Why does captcha appear on new anti-detect browser profiles and how to remove it?

A Google CAPTCHA appears on newly created anti-detection browser profiles—and it’s not because of the proxy. Let’s break down why this happens and how to fix it.

It’s not because of the proxy. In this scenario, the CAPTCHA appears with any type of proxy—IPv4, ISP, Mobile, Residential—in any location and in any anti-detection browser.

It appears specifically on new profiles that don’t yet have their own activity history, and is virtually never seen on profiles that have already been used—even just a little.

Important: This article is about profiles where the proxy is already connected and working. If you’re still in the setup phase, step-by-step instructions for AdsPower, Dolphin{anty}, GoLogin, and other browsers are available in the section Proxy Integration in Anti-Detect Browsers

How to Fix It

Method 1. Transfer Cookies from an Existing Profile

This is the fastest option—in most cases, the CAPTCHA disappears immediately. The process is the same across all browsers: export the cookies from a profile with an established activity history and import them into a new profile. Below is where to find this in each browser. The supported formats are the same across all browsers: JSON, Netscape, and plain text.

AdsPower

In the profile list, click the three dots next to the profile with an activity history and select “Edit.” Go to the section with the cookies and copy the contents.

Open the new profile for editing, paste the cookie into the same section, and click OK. Restart the profile.

Dolphin{anty}

Click the three dots at the beginning of the profile line with the activity history and select “Export Cookie.”

In the new profile row, click the three dots, then select “Import Cookies.” Paste the cookie into the field that appears or upload a file, then click “Import.” Next, restart the profile.

GoLogin

In the profile list, check the box next to the profile you’ve already used. In the action panel that appears, click “Export all cookies” and save the file.

In the new profile, open the three dots → Cookies and import the file. Restart the profile.

After restarting, perform a search—there shouldn’t be any CAPTCHAs.

Method 2. Let the profile build up a history

If there are no cookies to transfer, spend 10–15 minutes performing normal activity on the new profile: visit neutral websites, click on links, and act as you normally would. The profile will accumulate its own cookies, and the verification will stop triggering.

If the CAPTCHA persists

Make sure the cookies have been saved and the profile has been restarted, then repeat the search query.

If the problem persists, the cause may not be related to the profile; contact support via chat—we’ll help you identify the cause.
