Proxies not connecting: what to check for Residential

Residential addresses belong to real users. When a device goes offline, the address temporarily drops out of the pool, which can cause interruptions. Below is a step-by-step guide that resolves most of these cases.

Step 1. Check the current list

  • Connect using the SOCKS5 protocol.

  • Try other ports — 10001, 10002, and so on.

  • Set rotation every 5 minutes.

  • Instead of res.proxy-seller.com, try the address 185.162.130.85.

  • Alternatively, connect via us.res.proxy-seller.com.

  • Or through asia.res.proxy-seller.com or asia2.res.proxy-seller.com.

Step 2. Create a new list with broad conditions

If the previous steps didn't help, reassemble the list — this way the system will select addresses from a broader pool.

  • In the "Proxy list" block, click the "+ List IP" button.

  • In the "Ports" field, set 1000.

  • In the "Geo" block, leave only the country and region, remove the city and operator.

  • Set rotation every 5 minutes.

Please note. The narrower the geo conditions, the fewer suitable addresses. A narrow pool is the most common reason for connection interruptions. Choose regions with a large population: there are more addresses there.

If the problem persists after these steps, contact support and provide the connection details for the problematic proxy list: address, port, login, and password.
