How to set up a proxy in ixBrowser?

Creating a Profile and Setting Up a Proxy in ixBrowser

  1. Go to the Profiles tab and click “+ Create profile” to start.

  2. In the opened window, select the platform you plan to work with, enter the profile name, and optionally assign it to a group. You can also set a username and password for additional security, upload cookies, and add a note for reference.

  3. Move to the next tab to add a proxy server. Select the connection protocol, enter the IP address and port, and provide authorization details. Make sure to check the proxy to confirm it is working properly.

  4. In the Fingerprint configuration tab, you can generate a random User Agent and select the browser kernel version. Adjust the language, time zone, and geolocation so they match the proxy IP for better consistency.

  5. Apply noise to specific parameters to increase privacy and reduce the risk of tracking by target websites.

  6. Scroll down to enable the Do not track option and, if needed, configure port scanning protection to enhance security.

  7. In the final tab, enable additional features such as cloud backup storage and extension synchronization. You can also allow multiple team members to access the profile at the same time. After completing the setup, click Create.

  8. The created profile will appear in the Profile List and can be launched by clicking Open.

Done! The proxy setup has been successfully completed.
